Robert Burns Birthday / Scottish Heritage Celebration!

January 26, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join in a worldwide celebration of the birthday of Scotland’s most famed poet Robert Burns (of “Auld Lang Syne” fame)! Over 30 million Americans share in Scottish heritage, and whether you can claim Scottish kinship or not, we hope you will don some plaid and join us on Sunday, January 26 at 2:00 pm. This is a fundraiser for the Pondera Arts Council organized by Conrad local Julie Katana. Admission is by donation.

We will have door prizes, a bag piper, fiddlers, vocalists, poetry, a tam-o-shanter throw, the parading of the haggis, and all things Scottish to celebrate one of the world’s greatest poets and a great tradition. This will be a fun and cultural experience for the entire family!

All PAC events are supported in part by a grant from the Montana Arts Council, a state agency funded by the State of Montana and the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition, we are also funded in part by coal severance taxes paid based upon coal mined in Montana and deposited in Montana’s cultural and aesthetic projects trust fund.
